Save him

How did you convince him to fall, without having any intention of catching him?
How could you look into his eyes raging with fire and yet still remain so frozen?
How did you live with yourself knowing he'd give up his own life to save you?
How could you let him anchor himself, when all you did was cut him loose?

But the castles you imagined became the dungeon you built,
When the love that you sought, turned into sheer confinement.
While he was holding on for dear life, you were running to escape,
He was still willing to wait, hoping that someday your heart would change.

The mere corner of your smile was enough to make him beam,
But you'll never be as beautiful as you seem in his dreams.
You lost sleep thinking how to salvage your heart without breaking his,
You tried but failed at loving him, worn out with all those forced pretenses.

So you chose to take on the blame rather than to let him suffer
You care far too much about how your actions will affect others.
But how indifferent you are to yourself, you progressive strange soul,
And all this time, I thought that heart breakers were made of stone.

The Ode

I was never meant to be hidden, in the shadows of a Name,
Nor remain marooned on a pedestal that I did not create.
Looking down upon the mediocre beneath, condescendingly,
Forced my fear of confinement to condemn me to flee.

I didn't feel that I belonged into where I was born,
So I retaliated until those puppet strings were torn.
Driven by defiance, I dared not settle with familiarity,
Lost among strangers, I faced my forgotten identity.

Here you rescued me, when I had nowhere else to go,
And became home for giving me the solace I sought.
As I let my unregretted mistakes define me,
You let me live every dream that I dared to believe.

As the Old and New crossroads progressed,
Into their ultimate separation, you witnessed,
From the Modern to the Heritage,
My wrecked soul that I salvaged.

Parachute

"I love you,"
I heard you say.
You could repeat it again and again,
In the hope that I will finally reciprocate.
It is not that I believe your intentions aren't true
But the girl I show you, is the mask loved by all.
So before I hurt, yet another soul,
Let     me     pack    my

Daring

If ever there comes a time when you realise,
That it is pointless making it to the other side,
But since you've already made it halfway,
You now know you have a choice to make.

So would you retrace your steps and start afresh?
After all it was your own decision to begin with.
Or do you see it through till the very end?
As you fight the voices inside your head.

There is no net beneath the rope you dare tread,
You vowed to be daring, to your last breath.

Indestructible

We each have to follow our own roads,
But if our paths happen to converge,
I'll be the one to stand by you always,
So walk with me, every stride of the way.
You wont ever be left behind,
This, I vow to you, my friend,
But if in crossroads and mishaps you do turn,
I shall simply walk ahead, expecting your no return.

Chasing me is wasting time worthwhile,
So run with me as we go the extra mile,
Unleash your caged spirit as we pursue our dreams,
Feel the adrenaline burn our parched bloodstreams.
Our thirst for Adventure we shall quench,
Till in Glory, our weary souls we drench,
Our Dreams shall parachute into Reality,
As I unite with the Nightmares of our Fantasy.

Hold my hand and dance with me,
Let the rythem lead our heartbeat,
Let the tune slowly embrace,
As the melody consumes our veins.
But if the pace you do drop,
I'll go on, my sync does not stop,
I'll keep dancing on my own,
I've made the Music, my home.

I'll make you fall in love with me,
As we dive into uncharted seas,
Let your emotions, like water flow,
No depths for you, I wouldn't go,
Unless you resurface on your own,
And leave me there to drown below.
Don't think that my soul will sink,
I'll rise back up, faster than I dived in.

We're all leaning on someone who's leaning on someone else,
That's why we're falling like dominoes, but my are chains indestructible.
My Kingdom of Change is a cataclysmic domain,
A chaotic sanctuary, where my Freedom roams untamed.
I can see through the fake masks of Salvation,
Worn over hidden faces, lusting for Destruction,
The Lonely feeds on the soul of my conspirators,
So choose wisely, are you my friend or foe?

Memory

While the doctors counted days,
I held faintly onto faith.
Shut, since the day your eyes closed,
Your hands I’ve felt, have never been so cold.
I kept pacing down endless halls,
Heard your voice echo through walls,
You only kept whispering my name,
Seeking you out was now our new game.

Wild White Orchids within white sterile walls,
Will you be leaving me when the last petal falls?
Somehow I felt that you were attached.
So, I kept changing the flowers in the vase.
I prayed and begged and a miracle did unfold,
From the silence “Who are you?" your whisper broke.
And as I stared longingly into your eyes,
I saw that me, you could not recognize.

You are indeed my fondest memory,
But now to you I am a mere nobody.
How it pains to see you laugh and smile,
And how it pains to not be a part of your life.
I blame myself for your present situation,
So I’ve decided to leave without hesitation.
But if you ever do regain the years that we have lost,
This letter, I hope would have served its cause.

The Fallen

The darkness entered determined

To shed light on their fallen circumstances.
It trapped their hopes to escape
Having crushed all of their buried senses,
Souls were devoured when the trembling ground gave way
Whose bodies the Earth embraced condescendingly
As the rescuers who arrived were maybe just a little too late
Though elsewhere, earthquake statuses had been posted readily

Flames

Our lives are like candle wicks
Where one could choose to either
Burn intensely but die quick
Or live to die an ordinary fire

Not only did she choose the latter
Bringing sparks to extinguished hopes
But also rekindled the flames of many another
And showed the light to darkened souls

Her radiance made others burn
Making them envy her exuberance
Her downfall they did yearn
And to feed her to the Darkness

So they made the Shadows follow her
And Unwantedness crept in from behind
Till Loneliness ultimately took over
For Nightmares to keep her awake at night

She was a victim to their vicious game
Destroyed and lost, she soon gave in
And when they finally had their way
Rejoiced, that she'd never shine again

The Haunted Unfaithful

He'd take me in his arms,
But me, he never held.
I was a victim of his charm,
Like a prisoner, self turned.
On my cheek he would kiss
And rest his chin on my shoulder
But then always miss my lips
Which would make me wonder.

"What am I to you?" I would ask,
"My best friend forever!" He'd answer.
As I hid my disheartened face with a mask,
As he'd simply smile and pull me closer.
So one day, I screwed up all my courage I had,
I whispered "we're made for each other."
As I tiptoed in for a kiss he didn't pull away,
But indifferently said, "Im sorry, I'm with another."

His words anchored me to a wreck, I sunk within,

Deeply immersed, I was desperate to float back above.
I was pulled back by my self made chains bound to him,
But I was too proud to drown in his unrequited love.
A first kiss I may have wasted on hopes so false,
But I won when him as a friend, I lost.
I pity his lover still holding on, mistress of the Unfaithful,
For he will always see me in her eyes that I haunt.

The Fate Of The Lonely

Secluded and alone, she sat there
Safe beneath the cliff, among a rocky lair
She sat longing for the ocean breeze
which lay far beyond her reach.

She'd see how the waves rolled
Up the shore to tickle her toes
Her unquenchable urge she'd resist
Of repeating the Unlearned Mistake.

Down by the beach, a figure strolled
Who looked like her, except with eyes that shone.
And from the distance, she seemed fearless
As if indeed she was the sea's empress.

When their eyes met, they both stared with wonder
Of how contrary they were from one another
Fate's rebellious wave violently swept
The cheerful Past to her doomed Present

The washed up body slowly disappeared
Yet on the shore she again reappeared.
Her last memory, the Lonely Girl would replay
Hoping to warn her Past of her unavoidable Fate.

She

She,Introduced them,
They smiled,
They laughed,
They left.
Her.

Shadows

The pursuing footsteps came closer,
And gagged her from behind.
No commotion did her screams stir,
As the shadows violently converged.
The darkness of the night helped to camouflage,
A rotting raped bloody corpse.
